Scans are at 300 ppi at the original print size and saved as JPEG files (TIFF available). These bulk scans are intended for archival purposes and no image enhancement is included. Prints are scanned as-is without spotting or dusting. Although we cannot guarantee it, we will make every effort to insure that all images are scanned in order and correctly oriented.
Photos for bulk scanning orders must be loose and unmounted, not in photo albums, not torn or bent, no glue, staples, or post-it notes, and not smaller than wallet size of 2½ by 3½ inches or larger than 8"x 10".
Mounted or thick photos, such as Polaroid and Kodak Instant Photos, will not feed through our automated equipment.

"food is art” photo contest
Entries should be dropped off at Techlab Photo. Grand prize is a month long (jan/09) showing at Grand Cru Wine Bar in Belvedere Square with a small opening night party. First prize is a photographer of the month in our newsletter (winner may sell prints through that) and the runner up receives a $25 Techlab gift card. The theme is food (creative interpretation allowed) and entries should be in 8x10 or 8x12 format and need not be printed at Techlab. Judges will be independent of Techlab so we can be impartial when collecting entries. Entries may be dropped off at either location, through November 30th. Judging to occur on or about the first week of December as schedules permit.
